Three people independently experience the death of a relative on the same day. Farmer Leachim loses his father, single mother Elena loses her boyfriend, and doctor Biela suffers a miscarriage in which her unborn child dies. In three interwoven episodes, the film tells how they try to cope with the loss, putting a severe strain on their relationships with those closest to them. by Michael Finger Switzerland, August 2007 Through a twist of fate, young farmer Leachim, doctor Biela, and Elena, a single mother, lose someone close to them. What they all share is an inability to accept the loss and cope with the pain, which soon threatens their closest relationships.
